Busy as usual. Bobbed in for brunch. Breakfast served until 11:40, but you can get breakfast sandwiches / paninis at lunchtime. The breakfast panini are fully loaded, thick slices of bacon, sausage rounds and yolky eggs. I love their Turkish eggs- really tasty and filling. Coffee hot and strong. Also have vegan options ( see photo) which sound delish.

Excellent little place just off the main drag with a well thought out menu offering freshly prepped plates for any time of day. All the ingredients are on show and friendly staff are on hand to help in this clean, bright, corner location. Plenty of nearby competitors but you’d be missing out if you passed by.

We’ve visited several times, and it’s always a fantastic experience. The food is consistently excellent, and the service is friendly and attentive. The full English breakfast is hands down the best I’ve ever had, and everything is great value for money. Highly recommend!

I like the place and the food is great. I am a bit bemused though by a conversation that I overheard between a customer and the older male cook with short hair that was constantly making whistling sounds in the kitchen area. She asked him what the soup of the day was, he said rather bluntly 'no idea I've only just come on'. The customer then asked the lady serving with the blonde and colourful hair and got an answer. This was all while I was sat eating a bowl of said soup, that I watched the aforementioned man clean round the rim of with a cloth, before he sent it to my table to be served. Why he didn't just tell her the flavour is a mystery to me, or at the very least if he was unaware of the soup's flavour (it was in his kitchen?!?) then why didn't he ask a colleague instead of turning his back on the lady forcing her to seek advice elsewhere? All very odd and it made me take away the impression that the chap is rather rude, especially compared to his friendly and...

Lovely cafe for regular folks. Sadly not at all disabled/allergy friendly. Attempted to buy lunch for my autistic partner here hoping to get something nice. Unfortunately the sandwiches contain a lot of things not listed anywhere and the staff don't ask you if you want them, they just make it with them on. Strong smelling and tasting condiments/onions/chives etc. Got a sandwich home to discover this, upon returning it and asking for a replacement without the unlisted extras, I was charged full price for this again and left feeling very uncomfortable. It is also worth noting some of the eat in food is served on a bed of mayo so if you aren't keen on mayo make sure to...

Stumbled across this lovely little place whilst looking for somewhere to have breakfast this Saturday morning in Macclesfield. What a find!

An exceptionally good and VERY large cappuccino and wonderful Turkisk eggs.

A cabinet full of mouthwatering goodies was on display. I was wondering whether they did take outs, and as I turned around I saw the large board offering just that! I bought two 'lunch boxes' and shared them with a friend in the evening; excellent - AND really exceptional value!

I really can't recommend this Plums Kitchen enough! Congratulations to all the (very friendly and...
