Allen's Nosh Bar — Restaurant in England

Not even worth one star!! extremely rude staff and very sarcastic to customers. Upon arriving at Allans we were directed to a dark filthy corner. I asked if I our family could sit by the window (plenty of window seats free) reply was ill have to go and check if that's ok with the boss! Eventually sat down and told to order at the counter. Went to the counter they took my drinks order and said they would bring them over and take food order. After waiting & waiting No-one ever came over. Went to to query they knew nothing about it!!! After half an hour trying to order food and a couple of teacakes which the lady argued was called breadcake with currents in! We sat at the table and over came a dry breadcake!! The fish and chips were horrible overcooked rubbish. The kids just wanted to go! Then the ignorant lady in charge came over snatched the dry breadcake off the table and put her hand out for another £3!!! Disgraceful customer service! AVOID!!! We left the meal untouched and had a brilliant meal round the corner for half the price and service...

My son came in your restaurant with his two small children a pram and got himself a high chair put child's bag on table a baby's bottle. Then took his youngest one year old with to order the food leaving his 7 year old at daughter. A waiter took the High chair leaving son with no chair giving it to someone else for their child. . My son obviously needed high chair 👀🙄.. Leaving my tiny Grandaughter without one. My little Grandaughter fell of the chair hitting her head at the back making her sick disgusting.💔 No one helped he then had to leave as his daughter was being so sick nobody helped him or my 7 year old Grandaughter .. Family restaurant what a joke £30 for nothing as had to leave without eating food.. 🤬 Sure health and safety standards would be...

Popped in for fish and chips, (Took a chance on this establishment as there are many cafes in Bridlington). Fish was tasty and boneless, but the batter was rather greasy, so not too good for the digestion. Chips were excellent. We also had tea and was told come back for more hot water and milk when ready. So we could have plenty of extra tea for the same price. Staff were polite and chatty and didn't have to wait too long to be served. My partner was annoyed as the waitress kept sweeping around the tables after other people left. She said cleaning up should be done when the place shuts, not when other people are trying to eat. Unless there was a real mess under the table. (She used to run a restaurant). All in all ok, but would try elsewhere next time in...
