Bakes&Bubbles — Restaurant in England

Lovely staff, but the picture speaks for itself. Worst restaurant experience I've ever had. 😔

Edit: This experience was months ago. (April. 24 or 25.) Unfortunately, I cannot show you an invoice, as we did not receive one. I also forgot to say that there was no menu. We had to look at the menu from a website. When paying, you were told that the prices listed there were not real, so we would have to pay more. Given the reception to my honest opinion, I retract the "lovely staff" statement. Immediate aggressive threat, insult, racism. "Hungarian habit." Outrageous attitude. Another disappointment about the place...

Dropped in today as we had time to spare and we’re hungry. We were made to feel really welcome which was a good start.

Never having heard what Bubble Tea was we asked curiously and ordered one of each and were pleasantly surprised. The fruity lemon one was nicer but both unusual and glad we tried them.

I didnt know what to have so asked for some guidance and took the ladies advice and had a chicken gyros. Oh wow it was delicious. Not being a potato fan I was pleased when a flat bread packed with delicious fresh salad and chicken and a scrummy sauce pitched up. I couldn’t eat it all but it was fabulous.

Hubby ordered the burger and chips and left some of his as it too was enormous. But delicious.

If only we lived nearer. Thank you ladies for your guidance,...

We are staying at the Premier Inn, and I didn't fancy the food at the Brewers Fair, so thought we'd take a stroll and came upon Bakes and Bubbles. I don't often leave reviews unless I have had an awful meal or a superb one. This certainly fell in the superb category. I had the goulash soup, it was like eating a fabulous home cooked meal. Seasoned beautifully and so delicious. My husband had the deluxe chicken burger. It was huge, so much chicken. It tasted amazing (I had to have a bite).
