Belle Vue — Restaurant in England

We popped in here after driving round Filey looking for a pub still taking food orders as it was after 6pm. Friendly bar staff. Our orders were taken for starters and mains. Starters were generous. Main courses came but were disappointing. Cheese and onion pie had been microwaved as pastry was soggy and I ordered peas but it came with beans. I didn't complain as I like beans. The waitress took our orders at the table and had a small money box and calculator with her. You paid there and then. A bit off putting but could the kitchen be getting run as a franchise so bar and meal takings are separate? This could be done in a different way. On saying this the waitress provided us with a tray of various dips for our chips and mushrooms and they even used their own milk when my grandson wanted a glass of milk as the pub had run out. Visited recently as signage outside states "Children Welcome" but sadly this was not the case! We were fallen into by drunks play fighting who ended up on the floor. The bar staff saw this but did nothing. My daughter was left upset after being rudely spoken to by the owner for being inquisitive about a Wellington boot on the bar. Then to cap it all 10 minutes after buying a round of drinks we were told we would have to leave as children were not allowed in the pub after 10pm. We were in a similar situation a few week before when they advised the curfew was 10.30pm. When challenged the landlord spoke to us rudely again! Says children welcome outside however not really suitable for kids. Drunk and loud what I assume were locals, swearing probably been in all afternoon on Easter Sunday.
