Filey Stone Bake — Restaurant in England

Well firstly I'm not one to write bad reviews but this really needs saying. I really wish I had read some of these reviews before ordering from here. We've travelled around the country and tried many takeaways but this is by far the worst We've ever tried. We gave it a try as the leaflet was posted to our caravan on the haven blue dolphin site. We spent over £28 and what a waste of money. We barely ate any of it. The kebabs on pitta bread literally were ON pitta. The pitta bread was underneath the meat and salad so by the time you got to it, it was hard and stale. I say salad it was a bit of lettuce on top of the meat that definitely was not fresh. The yoghurt sauce was literally just yoghurt. Not a yoghurt sauce. And the pakoras were so hard I was afraid I'd break my jaw. On top of that my husband had to meet them at the gate. So you can deliver leaflets but not the food. Right OK. Definitely would not recommend....

Got from filey Stone Bake pizza was a total showstopper! From the moment I opened the box, the aroma was irresistible — a perfect blend of spicy pepperoni, sweet pineapple, roasted veggies, and gooey cheese. The crust was just the right thickness: crispy on the edges, yet soft and chewy inside. Each bite had a burst of flavor — the sweetness of the pineapple paired surprisingly well with the saltiness of the pepperoni, while the green peppers and onions added a fresh, slightly crunchy texture.

What made this pizza truly stand out was the balance. No ingredient overpowered the other — everything was in harmony. It was hot, fresh, and cooked to perfection. This is the kind of pizza that makes you want another slice even when you’re full.

I ordered food yesterday, the wrong food arrived so i called them they said they would get a replacement out asap, fair enough sometimes these things happen. 1 hour later still nothing I rang them again they said it is out for delivery, 2 hours later still nothing rang them again he said "i can't see the food so it must have gone". This was after he said he couldn't hear me down the phone and proceeded to leave the phone on the side ignoring me even though i could hear conversations in the takeaway clear as day. 3 hours later still no food i rang them again for him to yet again tell me the food is due any minute, 22 hours later the food still isn't delivered. Shame as what turned up which was correct was actually nice food but doesn't make up for the dreadful...
