Service was poor. Came for breakfast on a quiet Thursday morning. Neither the young girl or boy smiled at me, or were warm and friendly. The young lad with the earring was rude to the female server and commanded her to âserveâ me. I ordered the full English with no beans, extra egg. The chef delivered the food to me (seated outside), it came with beans and no hash brown. Although polite, the chefâs English wasnât great and he said the hash brown would âcome laterâ. I said no - please take it back and serve everything together. Meanwhile I could hear the young lad chatting away to presumably his friend (?) (it wasnât busy) and could hear them listening to videos and having a good laugh - I donât think he was even aware the chef had to correct my order! The chef returned about 10 mins later with my order - hash brown was piping hot but everything else was now luke warm and the eggs were stone cold! The young servers didnât even bother to check on me, therefore, I was not afforded the opportunity to explain what was going on. Anyway, I was hungry and ate the food, it wouldâve been nice had it been hotter! I wonât be recommending this place for breakfast, and will avoid it going forward. You need to TRAIN your staff to fix the service...
Read moreMe & The wife called into Beverley on our way home, wife always likes a coffee so whilst she was window shopping I spotted Blu Luna, nice little place amongst the usual Cafe Nero etc. I'm so glad we called in for a late breakfast. It was a warm welcome and made to feel at ease and choose our table, I understand some other comments about tight tables, which might be a squeeze if full. Never the less we ordered 2 x cappuccinos, Nduja & Tuscan sausage. Service was very friendly and didn't wait too long for our food, which they were both gorgeous, great coffee's. When entering, you see their sweet treats & paninis in full view (next time) lovely decor with seating up and downstairs, also outdoor seating front & rear. In all, we had a great experience and look forward to returning sooner rather than later....
Read moreI had no idea where this was when my friend suggested it as a good place for a catch up coffee. When we got there I quickly realised that the coffee shop had previously been Cervones (some of the signage had not been updated but I understand change is imminent.) The decor is lovely, particularly around the counter area and the display of cakes and sweet treats was mouthwatering! I did find that the tables were a little too close together for ease of getting around but Iâm sure this could easily be adapted. The coffee was delicious and reasonably priced; staff were warm and engaging and service very speedy. There is an outside seating area but the weather was not warm enough for me to venture out. The cafe has seats at ground floor, first floor and outside so perfect for small...
