Chequers Micropub — Restaurant in England

Quality tiny bar stocking a frequently changing selection of beers and ciders. DO NOT expect to get served a commercial lager here as they simply don't do them! In that respect you would be best ordering one of their German or continental bottled pilsners or weisbiers :-)

Toilet is upstairs so would be hard to reach for anyone with mobility issues. Can get crowded due to its small size so don't expect to get a seat

However, if you are a beer drinker and are on a visit to Beverley definitely add this place on your list of things to do. Hi... I accidentally reviewed your pub as 2 stars... I had been going through a few different places and never realised that I had done this... however, calling me pathetic and claiming that I in some way work for a competitor actually justifies the low rating... people are allowed to dislike places and, due to the nature of review sites like this, you will every so often have to hear them. As far as public relations go, I would have thought that asking why you had received the low rating would have been a much better approach than throwing about random...

Always a pleasure to visit Chequers Micropub... Although it is only small inside, it offers a warm welcome and comfortable seating for everyone. There's also a fantastic outside area, which is a real sun trap in the warmer months, The choice of craft beers, real ales and real ciders is outstanding...
