Brenda’s Cafe — Restaurant in England

Day in derby. Just popped in to this cafe for a bite to eat. This lady greeted us and was just amazing, friendly and it was if we had known her for years. I have never known such a friendlier person. Can I just say I don't usually leave reviews, but this is the best cafe I have been in. All the staff are just so polite and Friendly. The Food is excellent, I have a good appetite and there was more than enough for me. I had a cheeseburger with salad and chips. It was not greasy in the slightest and tasted well good. The prices are good and I was made to feel exceptionally comfortable. We received the most high customer service. This cafe is very clean. I have been to cafes in derby and this one is by far the best. You won't have this experience in anywhere else, I have been in italian restaurants and bistros that do NOT offer this level of service. I rate this my no 1 cafe and will definitely be going back again soon. Excellent service, excellent staff, excellent food, excellent hygiene and cleanliness, and excellent prices, By far the best place to eat. I wouldn't go anywhere else because it is an amazing experience. Just love it here. I’ve just had a rather nice big breakfast at Brenda’s Cafe. The portion size was good with 3 thick back bacon, two eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, mushrooms, 2 sausages and 2 toast, all for £7.50. The place is rather on the small side with only four tables situated inside although there are more tables outside if you prefer. I would of given this relatively new place 5 out 5 stars for the food quality because it was good but my experience sitting inside this place was disappointing as although the extraction ventilation system was making a noise, it did very little in the way of extracting the smoke of food being cooked. The room became filled with a blue haze which was rather unpleasant. I came out of there smelling of the stuff the food is cooked in which is not a nice experience. On the plus side, the staff were very professional in their service towards me and I would definitely have food from there again but as a takeaway until something is done with the ventilation system...

Visited Brenda's Cafe this morning with my partner after a visit to the hospital over the road. I'd been craving a big fat fry up for a while now and I was far from disappointed. The food was absolutely amazing, staff couldn't have been friendlier. We even got a complimentary brew each and an apology for having to wait for our food even tho it really didn't feel like we'd been waiting all that long and tbf a large group of workmen had gone in just before we did so the kitchen was understandably busy. We both loved the fact that we could clearly see the food being prepared in the kitchen. The branded mugs are a nice touch too and who doesn't prefer a good mug of tea with breakfast rather than a dainty little cup. Very fair prices and decent sized portions. We ordered Beans and Fried eggs on toast, a Brenda's Big Breakfast and 2 teas, £13.30.. absolute bargain. Will 100% be back. Keep up the...
