After over 30 incredible years, Buckingham Tandoori is closing its doors, leaving behind a legacy of unforgettable flavours, warm service, and a true sense of community. For decades, it’s been the go-to spot for the best Indian takeaway in the area — a place where every dish was crafted with care, consistency, and genuine passion.

Whether it was a Friday night curry or a celebratory family meal, Buckingham Tandoori never failed to deliver mouthwatering food that kept us coming back. The chicken tikka, lamb rogan josh, and their signature naan will be remembered fondly — not just for their taste, but for the memories they created.

To the owner — thank you. Thank you for your dedication, kindness, and the countless meals that brought comfort and joy to so many. Your retirement is well deserved, but your presence will be deeply missed. You've not only served great food but helped build a loyal community around it.

Order placed Tuesday evening online at 18:30 food eventually delivered at 8pm, was barely warm , onion Bhajees burnt and rock hard hard to tell were the onion was, chicken purée deep fried bread swimming in oil and over cooked, Chicken Tikka Korma 6 small and I mean small pieces of chicken floating in the sauce. Peshwari Nan bread burnt only half decent part of meal was the Bhuna and the Keema Nan and Pila Rice. Don’t know what’s happened but this new management need to oversee standard of food going out to customers unacceptable serving burnt over cooked food. They need to look at delivery as if the delivery service don’t have proper tools and equipment to keep food warm then they shouldn’t be offering this service. Never once before under old management had to write a bad review as food and delivery was always spot on. This order even with discount wasn’t cheap and as good portion of it ended up in the bin as over cooked and burnt!!! Sorry to say until they address these issues I...

Ordered a delivery from here through just eat twice and both times it was delivered within the estimated time window. However the food was average, even though I got a lot for the price, Most recently I ordered the 'Meat Thali Special'. Notes below.
