I visited this cafe a couple of months ago and it left of lot to be desired. The prices are pretty extortionate for what you receive - over £4 for a slice of cake (which was nice but quite sickly) and £9.50 for a ham, cheese and tomato panini. But what was the real cherry on top, was I was waiting around 30 mins for the panini only to discover that my order wasn't even put in. I said I'd like a refund because it was getting late and I needed to get my son home, but felt pressured to take it as a takeaway. Read moreWent for tea and cake today - dreadful service - had a pot of Earl Grey tea for two and the teapot was only half full served in a not very clean looking teapot. The shortbread cake was just slapped together with caramel stuck on the sides and had a very weird taste so left that. Asked for a tea strainer for the leaf tea and this was filthy dirty. The toilet needs a good clean and update too. Read moreLovely little cafe with a great selection of cakes, coffees, tea and also a normal menu so there is plenty of choice. The staff are friendly and helpful and the overall appearance and atmosphere is one of a cute and lovely English tea shop. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our visit sitting outside in the son whilst enjoying the delicious cakes and tea.
