Good cup of char and very reasonably priced menu. Had green tea with soya milk. Good portion of chips. Bright, colourful chairs with good sea view to watch, but chairs not so good if you have dodgy knees and dodgy legs as they are very low. I'd revisit as twas 'cheap as chips' and a very pleasant little stop.

Honestly, its a 5/5 for me.

Food is absolutely bang on each and every time. Whether you come here 5 times a week, or 5 times in the year, or 5 times in the 5 years. Its exactly same each time, and its absolutely flawless. The bacon and egg cob must be one of, if not the best I've ever had. The soft serve ice cream are perfect as well- I just can't resist buying a cone each time we're there.

Staff are lovely, very welcoming and friendly. Wont chew your ear off, but wont rush you away either.

They do loyalty cards for hot drinks, which is a big plus- almost on another free drink again :)

Finally- the location. The little seating area, with a bit of sunshine and a bit of shade, right next to the beach. Nothing beats seeing the castle and the sea from the cafe, whilst you're having a brekky and a cuppa.

In short- 5/5, will visit each time we're in Scarborough, definitely recommend a bacon cob with an egg, or their soft serve ice cream!

Stopped at this lovely little café before our walk to Scarborough South Bay.

We were staying at the Premier Inn for my husband's birthday & had read the previous reviews for the Chalet Café.

It was a beautiful warm February morning & we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast baps, sausage & egg & a bacon & egg, food was really tasty & drinks were very good too.

Service was super friendly & couldn't've been better + add that to lovely sea views over North bay & the whole experience set us up perfectly for our day out. We'd definitely recommend a visit & will certainly call again next time we're...

We absolutely love the chalet cafe!

We visit everytime We are in Scarborough (multiple times a year). The drinks are always lovely and hot and good value, plus they come in proper cups even though we are sitting outside. The views are out of this world.

Dogs are very, very welcome - I'd say they are more welcome than humans and quite rightly so! We love seeing them come to the Chalet Cafe.

We are also in full support of the planning application made by the Chalet cafe, it would be an excellent addition to North Bay and we do hope to see this passed and work starting very soon.
