Chocoberry — Restaurant in England

After the delivery driver tried to give me a wrong order which was unpaid for then he goes back to his car and gets the right paid for order all in the time he was smoking a cigarette this was just the start. me & my family tuck into our deserts which was all good until I take a spoon of the melted kinder into my mouth and think hang on a minute this isn't smooth there was a "forgien object" inside the chocolate somewhat of a plastic/paper type material...I never got much response from the company I had to badger them no apologies..nothing for the inconvenience just pure ignorance oh a refund at a push for one of desserts from the order & the cheapest!! but I think giving situation I should of had an explanation what the material was that I actually in my mouth and an apology for a start!! First problem here but the last giving my time to read some comments they don't like to take ownership for there faults as iv clearly realised in my situation...lost of good custome but all means the deserts as nice just be cautious u ain't getting no...

I’ve been a customer of Chocoberry since it first opened and have always enjoyed their desserts. I visited today with my family. After the usual long wait, our food was finally served, and we ate in.

After finishing, our 3-year-old urgently needed the toilet. We asked the staff for help, explaining it was an emergency. One of the staff members first claimed she didn’t know the door code, even though I had seen her open it earlier. She said she’d go ask for permission but never came back.

As our child got more desperate, I asked another staff member, but she just said “we can’t.”

We ended up rushing to a nearby restaurant, Desi Khazana, where the staff immediately let us use their toilet after seeing the situation. I’ll be leaving them a great review for their kindness.

I understand Chocoberry may have policies about toilet use, but refusing a small child who just ate there - especially in an emergency - is really disappointing. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll...
