Coffee 1 at Paignton used to be our favourite coffeee shop. However we have used it on three occassions in the last 10 days including the Exeter branch and have been very disappointed. We usually visit it mid morning for tea and toast as we always have. We have been told recently on all occassions that there is no toast and no marmalade. Today we visited the Paignton branch only to be told the same thing. There were 4 people in our group and three of the party opted for a toasted teacake instead only to be told at 10.30 am there were only two left! Also the only table with 4 chairs was the very small window table. As there were only two chairs at the bigger square tables i politely asked if we could put two more chairs at these bigger tables to accommodate our order. I was told we were not allowed to do this. We ended up putting some of our order on the floor and eating off our laps. Surely common sense should have prevailed. It would not have broken any covid rules if we had been allowed to sit at the bigger table. We will think twice about using Coffee 1 again in the future under these...

I have been going to Coffee#1 for several weeks now I like the place a lot great seating and a friendly atmosphere there is one let down one of the girls (ladies) that serves insists on give out lukewarm coffee even if you send it back it still comes back luke warm she has the attitude of she knows best she also likes to call people Bud or Honey I bet if someone use a nickname for her she wouldn't like it apart from this it's a great place to meet up with friends
