Nice restaurant & takeaway serving a wide range of fresh fish & chips dishes as well as pies, battered sausages, fishcakes plus an all day breakfast & hot & cold beverages, I have visited several times & on my first visit I had the breakfast which I found to be very greasy, the beans vinegary & not very warm, but today I had haddock & chips which was cooked perfectly. If eating in the restaurant, find a table & take note of the number, look at the menu, then go to the counter to order what you would like, pay & then your food is brought over to you once it is ready, the lady who serves could be friendlier, but the chefs are very nice.

Don't bother honestly they mess orders up so much how do you confuse a burger and kebab, then they take 30mins or more to sort out your order out...recked our evening as 1 person waiting for food, all can say if you want greasy, soggy and overcooked food and the addition to not getting what you ordered then go here. We have been using this place for a year and lately its getting bad, we will be finding another place after our last meal. Very disappointed with the lack of apologies and service provided.

Ordered for specific time of 9:20 pm and door turned up nearly hour early the opening hours werent present and the website allowed me to put the time I wanted my food Phoned to explain that no one was home yet and now food is going to be cold re doing kitchen so have nothing to re heat hence getting takeaway. Not even an apology just basically the guy on phone said it's not his problem. Porr service a simple sorry on the phone would have gone along way.

We had a takeaway the other evening and we enjoyed it so we decided to try home cooked food menu looked great .We fancied Liver & Onions but we were told none left so I had sausage & mash and fish & chips with mushy peas . When my sausage and mash came I couldn’t believe it a massive pile of mashed potatoes topped with fried onions 4 sausage which had been microwaved plonked on the top and absolutely swimming in gravy .The gravy was cold mashed potatoes were very salty and that hot couldn’t eat them for ages and the sausage were like cardboard .I don’t understand why food is served like that what a waste it was £5.80 for that meal ridiculous it’s alright giving a massive plate but it has to be good quality food Why wasn’t the gravy separate so I could add my own it was swimming in it like water and who ever made the mash didn’t taste it it was so salty .Fish & chips were better though sorry would not recommend better...

Been here many times for the GF fish and chips which I have always raved about. Since I last went it seems to have changed hands. Ordered it today and when it came out I asked for GF vinegar. Guy looked puzzled as to why I requested it then said they hadn't made mine GF, despite him being the one who took my order and only 2 other people in the whole place so not busy. Luckily I asked for the vinegar as someone with Coeliac disease would have been very poorly. I then had to wait while they cooked mine so my husband started eating without me. Meal used to come with a side salad but ours didn't today. Unfortunately not impressed and won't look to return. Please be very careful if you are a Coeliac as previously they have been so...

Where to start… we tried a different chip shop on our first night, but my mom is gluten free. Chip shops for gluten free are mostly poor, however this was one of the nicest fish and chips I have ever tasted! The fish was beautiful, and the chips perfect, and the curry sauce was delicious.

Gluten free options was limited, but that’s no surprise, however curry sauce, fish and scampi is gluten free and my mom thought it was fabulous!!! This was a really treat when hardly anywhere do gluten free options!

Pleasant service and delicious food… only fault was one pot of curry sauce was missing but the fab service and fab food made up for...
