Costa Coffee Cheshire Oaks DT — Restaurant in England

Quick 15 minute grab and go at Costa this evening for a hot drink and cake.

Super surprised by the overall efficient, effective, polite and smiley service. There was even time for a minute or two of banter and a couple of unexpected surprises.

The hot drink was lovely and the selection of cakes available. We loved the unexpected inventive incentive that Costa had in place which give their customers an opportunity to win a free drink of their choice. I was thrilled and exited to participate and loved my unexpected win for a drink of my choice. Thank you very exiting, it must be a turn of luck for me.

I got to the Costa coffee shop at 6.00am on 04.07.2025. I have a Brompton cycle which folds up to a size of 500mm x 500mm and can be tucked away. The girl serving was extremely rude and was shouting across the coffee shop in front of other customers. She told me to take it outside and she got very aggressive in her manners. I don't carry a lock as everywhere I go allows me to take my bike in with me. I asked to speak with the manager and she said no as he's in bed! My bike is now outside and I can tell the girl is still bubbling inside because I questioned her. Quite funny really. She should have got back into bed and got back out the other side. Life is too short...

With regret neither I nor anyone I know will be returning to this Costa or any of the business 'served' by the local car park. The car park is 'administered' by one of those parasitic companies that set an arbitrary time limit on it's use with the sole intention of sending 'demands with menaces' for 'fines' should you dare to overstay your welcome. The signage to this immoral and illegal effect is far from obvious and there is no warning of this posted in any of the local businesses. The staff have certainly never mentioned it. I don't like being robbed, and neither does anyone I know! If you feel the same way there are other places to drink coffee with...
