Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

I have today visited costa drive thru, hankridge retail park, taunton. It saddens me to see how far the customer service has fallen in this store. I placed my order with Stephen who made me feel like i was an inconvenience on his time, that he did not care about his job nor thebuse of manners. This goes for the staff making the coffee, no customer interaction, just dump the coffee on the trey push it to the edge of the counter and move on. We ordered toasties which was brought to us by Stephen, again made to feel like an inconvenience he said what toasties they were and practically threw them down on to our table. Previous visits have been nice with polite staff particularly the manager Emily, but today the staff have been a major negative effect on the enjoyment of my visit. Cheer up and...

Awful. The worst experience I have had in a Costa...no, a coffee shop..probably the worst hospitality experience.

Guy behind the counter shouting to his colleague "ARE YOU DEAF" repeatedly.

Dtinks were £10-odd. He remakes "HOW MUCH!?". I'm thinking is this guy serious.

Then proceeds to make the slowest coolers because he's too busy talking nonsense to his colleague, asking if she thinks she sounds English (she's Lithuanian, apparently). No problem with some conversation but not at full volume, slowing down the whole grab-n-go aspect.

Appeared to be a store or area manager sitting at one of the tables (notepads, rosters out). Didn't raise his head.

Sometimes this place is great and flat whites are really good and place is clean and tidy but lately has gone down hill filthy tables and dirty floor and i had to send my flat white back twice has very weak and bitter taste on both occasions to be honest is there any training?? The attitude of some staff stinks and customer service is non existance i work in a hotel and standards are high politeness does not cost anything and if you are working with people you should know that! Cause if u dont like working with people get another job I feel the management here has got worst there is no training or organazation or...
