Read moreBooked a table for Valentines day. The dining room was less than half full for the duration of the evening yet for some reason we were sat on a table right next to the kitchen door with all the associated noise and a cold draft blowing right across us! The food was average at best with wilting salad on the starter and what looked like frozen mixed veg on the main course. I find this frustrating as preparing fresh, nice looking salad and veg is not a big job! The Creme Brulee we both had for desert was curdled and didn't go down very nicely! Even though we were sat right outside the kitchen the waiting staff didn't pay us too much attention. The pulled pork burgers were completely inedible, the garlic bread was rock hard, and the vegetarian option didn't even come with garnish, just chucked wonkily on a plate. It was ridiculously salty and cold in the middle. It's a real shame as we used to come here a lot, but the look on the staff members faces was enough to turn grapes sour in their own right. You could say we just got unlucky but we overheard another couple complaining to the staff in a big way at the bar and another chap on the way out saying the "food was ** terrible". Most definitely not worth the wait, the money,...
