Reasonable quality coffee, but upsettingly the barista chose to berate my children (rather than approaching me about it!) for standing at the window away from other customers and playing a quiet game of "I Spy". This was inappropriate and bordering on weird...if the staff have a problem with children, they should approach the parents/adults who are there with them rather than act as some sort of vigilante disciplinarian.
It upset the kids and ruined a family visit to grab a quick coffee and hot chocolate and to shelter from the rain.
If children behaving like normal kids is unacceptable to the staff, perhaps they should make the store 18+.
A very different experience to my local Caffe Nero in Sherborne, who actively encourage my children to order their own drinks and have no problem with them being normal...

I placed an order online only to find the shop closed as no staff i had been charged for the order. I went in the next day but the costa app gives no proof of order.
