Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

My experience there was disappointing. i usually enjoy a costa coffee when out so today i thaught why not treat myself to a frostino and a breakfast sandwhich. when they took my order they couldnt have been more abrupt and miserable as they were. when i got my drink it was poorly presented with vey little whipped cream which was disappointing. i then got my sandwhich after they heated it up. i took it outside to eat and it appeared to be cut in half. so i got hold of it and tried to pull what i presumed was a little bit stuck together but no. for some aweful reason they had decided to only cut the top half of my sandwhich and not the bottom half so as i attempted to eat the mutilated "sandwhich" it fell apart anjhd the contents all fell onto my plate forcing me to eat little bits of filling off my plate using my fin gers like a savage. i am severly disappointed in the way this was and i assure you i will not be paying this branch of costa a visit...

From the photo, this looks like the Costa in Seaham. Went here with a friend to grab a quick take-out coffee each to take to the nearby harbour where we were going to sit and enjoy the views (this is a normal person 5 min walk away but was a moving the car job for two people who have extensive mobility issues). Anyway, ended up taking slightly longer as had the most allergy-aware, friendly and helpful member of staff on, who checked as soon as I ordered a non-dairy milk alternative as to whether that was because of preference or allergy. She double-checked ingredients for me and insisted on the machine being cleaned before making my coffee. Could not have been more helpful. Really good to see the awareness of allergies...

We've been really disappointed with the service at Seaham Costa. When ordering drinks to sit in customers are asked to take a seat & they will shout when the order is ready but sometimes it's quite a wait as they seem to prioritise customers coming in for takeaways even if they come in after us. Recently we sat for so long I went to the counter & it turned out our order had been forgotten!

We go in quite a few different branches of Costa where we are always happy with the service & none of them have this system, you wait in the queue & walk away with your drinks.

The overall impression is one of chaos & this needs to be addressed by Management as we weren't the only...
