Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

All the staff are very polite and they care about the customers but there is a man (I don't know his name) tall and blond with a strange haircut who is very rude to the customers. He makes you feel unwelcome, he makes you leave very quickly. I was there 2 hours before closing and he had already cleaned and put chairs so we couldn't pass. We had to sit where he wanted or outside. We are loyal customers and have our favorite place. I understand if it was close to closing but 2 hours before he can't do something like that. And this happened several times not just once. Now that we know it's his turn we don't come anymore because he doesn't like it to see...

Just went to Costa in Lakeside at the bottom by Pret. Genuinely queued for at least 15/20 minutes. No apology when I got to the front. Rude staff. Lady in front of me wanted a meal deal, staff argued over it, lady didn't even know what she was paying for or what she was going to get, had cake taken away from her. Young girl, child, asked for a new straw, was given 2 and she politely said she only needed 1 and staff member said 'just take both and go away'. Very rude staff, no need for the queue and no apology given for...

As with most food retailers, during this pandemic lockdown there is no sit in. So it's all take aways. It wasn't very busy so service was very quick. Costa now do a mini size. This is smaller than a 'small'. My missus always complains that the small size is too big for her, and this mini size was perfect. Good job Costa. This means less waste of coffee.
