Deli Flavour — Restaurant in England

Usually a great place so still giving 3*. The service is good and the coffee and tea are good and falafel wraps are excellent.

However this time I spent £8 on an avocado on toast. No egg. It was advertised as sourdough but I've had a lot of different sourdough and it didn't taste like it, just looked like slice bread. And it was burned? I could smell the burning from my sofa and thought she'd do another one.

Her mood was also too sour to mention it so I didn't say anything it but thought I'd leave a review. There are a lot of cafe options on that street, this one was my favourite but I might avoid it unless other...

It was rubbish.... We called in for some light lunch, four of us. It was around 2pm ish so the offerings were pretty thin. I had ploughmans sandwich, the bread dry...as in left-out dry, filling was awful, I left most of it, others had scone with clotted cream, they were also half eaten, saying the cream tasted 'synthetic ' the tea was cold. All in all it was a expensive waste of our lunch! We definitely won't be going there again anytime soon. I just love this cozy deli cafe. Special mention to the wooden floor, so charming and homey.

We enjoyed cups of latte and mocha, a piece of carrot cake and a slice of chocolate tiffin in the late Saturday afternoon, and left just before it started to rain.

It’s such a nice place to read and have a quiet time, but of course you gotta know when to avoid the crowd.
