The coffee was excellent, one of the best I've had in Leicester, yes it's expensive but good coffee.
The most disappointing thing is being kicked out after 1 hour, on a Monday afternoon in an empty seating area.
Like really?
At £6 for a coffee and general high prices, you'd of thought they'd at least let you sit there longer than an hour...Rather than being persistently told you have 5 minutes left, now your time is up. Then you need to leave!
Will not be returning, would not recommend if you want to sit as you'll be rushed the heck out of there ASAP
Edit: This was my first visit, I was told about this 1 hour rule after the coffee was served otherwise I wouldn't have bothered.
Are you for real? I was approached 3 times that my time is coming to an end and then was told this is it "it needs to be now"!! 😂 - Talk about Obsessive! 😂
I was literally in a zoom meeting so yeh I had to wrap that up and went over the precious 60 minutes however it's more like an extra 5 minutes since it took 10 minutes to get the coffee.
So if your space was for coffee or food (not a desk), would you still ask me to leave after 60 minutes? (we both know the answer to that). I apologised on the way out since I went over your 60 minutes and after being told to leave 3 times I thought it necessary!
Again, no one told me about your co-working space. Instead of kicking me out you could have said you can use that.
I don't have a clothing brand? Can't even...
Read moreWhen you walk into a store and there’s a cupping score next to the coffee selection you know you’re in for a treat. This might just be the most beautiful coffee shop I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. Everything is meticulously laid out and feels like you’re walking into the mind of someone who is, as the name suggests, obsessed with coffee.
The owner knows precisely what coffee he’s serving, from the origins, to the notes, to the best combination for each blend. This culminated into a coffee experience that is very very difficult to come by.
The espresso was by a mile better than any I had tried in the last decade. Perfect temperature, full bodied, and a pleasure to drink. The pour over was just on a different level. Clarity unlike any other, each note distinguishable, and as smooth as 600 gallons of double cream.
Even if you’re not a true coffee fanatic the food menu offers a fantastic selection, and caters for a variety of dietary requirements. I pulled the trigger on a sweet potato sourdough sandwich and each mouthful was as good as the previous.
Even if you’re not a coffee fanatic, the coffee obsessive is a must visit.
If you are a crazy coffee person, this is paradise. There’s a brilliant selection of coffee beans to choose from and the owner is so knowledgeable that he’ll help you decide regardless of how specific your preferences may...
Read moreHonestly I called to discuss something about the Menu but the rude & disappointing behaviour of someone named Iqbal on the phone was too disconcerting for me to ask anymore. Not ordering from here.
I am editing this comment now because of this guy's funny reply. Merely by reading your reply one can deduce whose comments are childish. I think we need a new definition of politeness from this guy. If someone asks a question about ingredients, you don't say that its all self explanatory & is on the menu. People have allergies and they should not deal with someone like you to answer their questions because you are too insensitive. Or maybe a lot of people liking your coffee has eroded your sanity. I have never seen a restaurant owner replying with such negative comments to customer's reviews. Need a lesson in customer service I guess. You have replied to someone else impolitely too as I can read from the other reviews. If someone complains, don't criticise them. Accept it with humility. Or maybe it's too hard for you to learn it. It was beyond my contempt to talk with you once I understood how your demeanor was. I could not waste my time. There are better shops around & as per my friends,...
