In-Haus — Restaurant in England

As a member of the local community, my family and I have been attending for years and have always loved the place however recently the customer service has been surprising. When my mum asked whether or not something on the menu was vegan (which was unmarked), she got a rude response and was told, 'well yeah' in a demeaning way. My mum responded saying she wasn't sure because it was not labelled as vegan on the menu and the staff member responded with 'well of course it is vegan we only put (lists ingredients)'. The staff member then continuously kept cutting of my mums sentences and showing frustration that we needed more time to decide on our order. This little café is quite unique. I’ve spent a lot of time in Scandinavia and it definitely has that vibe but what makes it really special? Wanda is absolutely fantastic, her service is impeccable, from her friendly helpful nature right the way through to remembering your order and starting to prepare on arrival. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is just right. The gifts are amazing for that last minute gift and when I forget my mum's birthday or the wife's.
