Very nice place to eat. Bistro style reataurant. Food presented very well. Starter very nice and hot. Main course however well presented was only warm at best. Peppercorn sauce was not as it should be. Thickeking agent was cornflour and not cream. Disappointing as paying a premium price for this main. Steak was cooked to perfection tho. The healthy chips were in fact a poor attempt at game chips as some were crisp and some were soggy loaded with oil ( healthy i think not, as i work in a crisp factiry). Veg was also strange as served Brussels, crinkle cut carrots and broccoli that was chopped up that small that it looked dreadful Dessert was tiramisu however no evidence of coffee in this. Such a disappointment as promised so much. A good bistro but could with some effort on finer details as mentioned become a...

We went for a mid week treat time Timo. The restaurant was busy with a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately my chicken Arrabiata had such a lack of chicken .My friends Calzone had 10 + huge lumps of uncooked garlic that were crunchy they were so undercooked. When some feedback was offered the manager? Owner? Was disinterested and very defensive interrupting us saying that it had been the same for 15 years, although I know categorically that the quality and quantity has declined as many other reviews have also stated. I am leaving the restaurant very disappointed. The overwhelming taste of uncooked garlic is making me feel nauseous. What a pity that that the staff were not interested in our feedback. Another little gem lost in the post...

I can’t fault them on service. Due to restrictions I ordered online through deliveroo, what a disappointment! I understand the constraints but my order of chicken in sauce with veg medley and garlic bread was so disappointing. The garlic bread could have been described as burnt within an inch of it life, it hurt my teeth to bite it. Burnt was an understatement The chicken was tough beyond belief. The veg couldn’t even be described.. I think there were aubergines, there was something orange and it wasn’t peppers, and there was something that look like courgettes. Nothing of that dish was edible. On the plus sauce and potatoes where delicious. Won’t be...

Parking a little difficult as it's street parking and it gets very busy in the area (always something I look at first). Greeted by a dippy waitress who tried to turn us away even though we had a table booked. She was nice enough just lacked professionalism during the evening. Food was delicious, lovely choice of veggie food but small portions. My parmigiana was tiny. We were given a bottle of wine for free, lovely gesture. Didn't have dessert but coffee was good. Very busy for a Monday evening so obviously popular and can see why. Would definitely go again. Photo is showing my starter, goats cheese and wild mushrooms with truffle sauce. Lovely.

My previous review: Good fresh tasty food. I am vegetarian and love the choice. I had the pasta vegetarian and fries. They're not like McDonald's fries. They are big, chunky, crispy chips. The atmosphere is relaxed, funky-chiq. I love chilli, hence the fresh chilli pot and powering of chilli around the pasta. My updated review after lockdown: Food not fresh like it was before and the menu has changed for the worse in my option. The price has gone up significantly and the quality of the food has gone down, which is a real shame. I used to eat so frequently there before, but I'm not so tempted anymore, I can only hope this changes.

1st time that we'd been there in years and it seems to be better than before. Had a lobster ravioli which was blooming delicious. Portion a little smaller than I'd anticipated though. The glass of Montepulciano wine I had was just perfect and overall it was a lovely experience. Service was attentive without feeling like we were being hassled and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed too. Some might find it a little on the pricey side but if you want quality Italian food and wine then you can't go wrong here.
