A great location with a wonderful selection of freshly ground coffees, teas and deli type snacks and hot food. My boyfriend and I fancied something smallish as a hot snack to keep us going till teatime so opted for the soup of the day with bread and cheese, an Americano and a flat white. This totalled just under £20 for the two of us for our lunch.
The soup was tomato and basil and although in first appearance we thought the bowls to be very small, they were in actual fact the perfect size. They were presented very well on a wooden board with bread, a huge chunk of cheddar cheese, a little bowl of tasty chutney and a healthy lump of butter. It really was incredibly tasty and just the right size, although neither of us ate the overgenerous massive chunks of cheese we were given.
The coffee was hot, rich and slightly bitter, which is something we both appreciated. There was a lot to look at whilst sat at our table as the deli has shelves filling each wall from floor to ceiling with very interesting deli produce, all for sale of course. Delicious Greek halva, lemon curd, Dorset biscuits, etc.
On a nice day I'd suggest sitting outside so you can take part in a spot of people watching an this really would be an ideal location for this sort of past time. Plus dog walkers can park themselves outside with their fluffy hounds whilst filling up with a nice cuppa and homemade piece of cake before continuing on with their daily walkies.

Read moreI feel quite differently about this place now. The proprietor was here yesterday and told me off for asking for my friends meal to be added to my loyalty card. I have brought so many people here over the years and told others to come here that this really offended me. And I've been here and forgotten to use the wretched card. The owner has apologised for offending me and has reviewed his opinion. A friend who moved into my road was introduced to the Deli by me and now brings all her guests here as I do. She was aware of the loyalty card long before I was and has benefitted from having all her guests orders added to her loyalty card which was why I felt offended by being picked on for one friend as opposed to around 10. The staff were already punching the cards for multiple people. I wouldn't stop coming here because of the unfortunate event. The atmosphere is less smiley though since the owner has been behind...
Read moreLove the place. Dog friendly in as well as outside. Disabled will find it easy to access but at busy times (i.e. during holidays or at lunchtime) seating inside may be unavailable but staff is very helpful and will serve you at the table if the time allows. Great selection of fresh deli with lunchtime specials and soup of the day for eat in or take away. I am visiting regular for the last two years and love it. I usually have a nice coffee with some olives on the side. Prices are very acceptable and definitely not overpriced. Its lovely sitting outside and let all the hustle and bustle from the quay go by, see the boats coming in and going out (it's right opposite Poole Yacht Harbour). A visit is highly recommended P.S. Here is a top tip: If you plan to go there more often ask for a loyalty card and after 10 teas/coffees you...
