Fireaway Pizza — Restaurant in England

A real shame to have to leave this review, however the promises made haven't been delivered upon. I've made 3 orders with this store. The first was perfect, no issues. The second had a pizza which had large areas without any of the toppings making the slice hit and miss when eating the pizza.

The third order was in many was the worst. I ordered in with my son and one pizza has a topping on it that wasn't asked for and the cheesy garlic bread ordered came without cheese. Again I could live with the pizza but wasn't what was ordered. The garlic bread was for my son. We ate promised another to be sent out, it wasn't despite chasing it up.

I then contacted on both Facebook and email the Fireaway Central contact not the store. I was promised 2x pizza vouchers and when I asked how they would arrive I've had no contact returned. This has been since the 5th August.

I was really hungry following a long day travelling on trains for work. I didn’t read reviews before ordering and oh how I regretted it. I glanced up from my phone whilst watched the food prep, the chap did wear gloves (great start) but then proceeded to touch frozen chicken, cooked chicken and, answered the phone all whilst wearing afore mentioned gloves. On arrival home, I had mixed feelings but as I say, hungry so I thought “what the hell” and bit into a chicken wing. It was cold in the middle. Obviously pre cooked (see comment regarding cooked chicken handling), but absolutely freezing non the less and barely “ flame grilled”. The Halloumi salad was Ok (prepared with same gloves) but I did end up ordering a well known pizza delivery later that night! Avoid. SLAPDASH ATTITUDE AND ALWAYS UNDER-DELIVERING Ordered pudding from here on Saturday night as a treat. Was a little anxious to do so as previous orders have been wrong and, instead of replaced, were just refunded without telling us. Ordered two chocolate pizzas, one with strawberries & cookies and one plain, along with a normal pepperoni pizza. As expected the order was wrong. Both puddings had strawberries & cookies on so we tried to phone them to remake and redeliver. Phone wasn't answered so we had to drive to the shop and get it remade. They didn't apologies, couldn't really have cared less that, yet again, they got it wrong. I strongly advise that you either go to the shop, order and check the food before you leave or just go elsewhere where they care about the customer...
