I ate here recently during a trip to Truro and it was exactly the right place for me. I get anxious and overwhelemed by choices sometimes and certain things about spaces can cause me to panic. Then I spotted this cafe. Good variety on the menu, very good and ordinary food (I dislike a mass of choices with fancy words) pricing was excellent. The portions were pretty good as I had a very well filled sandwich with crisps and a decent sized salad, as well as a drink which was all just under £10. All freshly prepared. I paid almost £10!!! for the saddest sandwich of my life(chicken and avocado), the NHS food would be considered gourmet there.
Supermarket bread, the chicken was white and tasteless, there were no spices on the avocado. It's like it would've been sinful to add some salt and pepper to it. They also threw one cherry tomato on there with two slices of old cucumber and a literal teaspoon of coleslaw.
The cappuccino cup handle was full of cocoa and there were no other napkins available to clean myself other than the ones the cutlery was wrapped in.
All in all, would've been better value to go into a shop and get a pre-packaged meal...
