I wasn’t impressed with this place, I was looking for a small cozy cafe, my “to go” cafe with a good service and coffee where I can spend a couple of hrs working on my laptop and enjoying my lunch, but it seems I will continue looking. Checked this out only because of high rating on Google. First negative point is not sure people with laptops are welcome there, at least doesn’t feel this way, second point is I felt staff are too busy getting home on time which they prioritise above customer satisfaction. And of course Google opening hours were wrong the cafe is closing at 5 pm instead of 5:30pm how it is listed on Google, but staff made sure I’m aware that they are closed based on the overall noise she produced by moving tables, chairs and cups around. Not a good impression, but I accept some people don’t mind it. Visited on march 6th

A lovely, great cafe in the centre of Truro (somehow a hideous place, as not easily spotted). While entering the cafe gives you vibes of keen and interest having thoughts of “what’s special in here”!? The place is very relaxing and very homey, especially the staffs were fantastic, having smiles on their faces and very friendly, polite. Didn’t really felt unaccommodated or uncomfortable at all. Menu’s are available at every table though you need to order at the till. They have varieties of drinks, hot and cold options. Ordered victoria sponge cake, superb good! As well drinks, overall great cafe experience. Highly recommended.

Whenever we pop into Truro this is our go-to for a delicious meal or just a coffee and cake. Always full and busy which is testament to their popularity. I had the cranberry Brie and walnut toastie and my daughter her favourite salad with all the things! Situated above the Uneeka Life shop on the Boscawen square. Vegetarian options and a daily specials menu plus non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages available for choice. Small with eight tables and a street view from above. Always a pleasure to be here.

3pm on a Thursday afternoon and one would have thought a coffee and cake would be easy to find in Truro, but no. In spite of Google saying Grounded was open, it was shut. Other independent coffee shops were shut and after a quick consultation with Google, Uneeka Cafe appeared to be the closest so he headed over to it. Situated above the shop is a delightful cafe. The cakes were amazing and we split a vegan carrot cake and yoghurt coated flapjack between us with a couple of coffees. Seating was comfortable, atmosphere was relaxing, service was friendly and attentive and the coffee absolutely hit the spot. The café also has a lunch menu, so we will definitely be back to sample that at some point. Highly...

Sadly I have to write a poor review for this independent local café, that I have always supported. I had met a friend for coffee and a cake, and proceeded to (try to!) pay using my Google pay on my phone, as I take my phone rather than cards in a purse. The member of staff who served me asked for my card, as the machine required this. I explained that I didn't have it. Unfortunately the member of staff became quite rude, stating that "you don't have the money to pay" and "I don't know what you aren't understanding about this". So we left without buying anything and went to Wetherspoons, where my phone was able to purchase a pint of Guinness with no problem at all!...
