Zafiros — Restaurant in England

Great place. Food was fantastic and there was a great selection to choose from. Service was quick and very professional. Films of the tv screens could be listened to via headphones which our 5 year old found fantastic - peace and quiet for the parents and entertainment for the children. We had three different main adult courses and we all commented on presentation and the quality of the food. Everything tasted freshly made, well seasoned and presented nicely. I had gammon, egg and chips which was really yummy, particularly with a perfect runny egg.

We ordered a kids meal too, which was equally well presented and looked great.

Initially we only went in for some lunch, but was so impressed we stayed for cake afterwards too, which was fresh and lovely.

It seems a real effort with this place to make everyone welcome, provide a great varied and appealing menu and the food emerging from the kitchen is top notch. It's just a shame...

My wife and I visited today for a drink and light snack we ordered drinks and then young lady took our food order we wait 25 to 30 minutes when another waitress asked if we wanted food when I explained we had ordered 30 minutes previous and was still waiting.the look of panic was obvious as she returned to the bar ,I approached the bar to be told the order had been forgotten ,place was nearly empty so no excuse there when I said forget it he still asked me to pay for the drinks.the apology was I will have a word.i had a few words of my own but I chose not to use them.we won't...

Very poor service. Took over 20 mins for drinks and 40mins to bring out fish fingers and chips, cajun wrap and enchilada. Basic food was OK but the bread and dip side dish was disgusting. The oil tasted bitter and vile and we could not eat it. Upon complaining we were told that the chef says there's nothing wrong with it. We'll considering how long it took to cook such a basic meal ; I hardly think he's qualified. During our time there 3 other tables complained aloud at how long it took for their food to arrive.
