Piggyz — Restaurant in England

I've used this cafe a few times and honestly food and value for money is amazing and would reccommed based on this. I normally get the builders baguette and cant fault it.

Unfortunately the few times I've been the service has been a little stern and slightly rude and one of the days the forks were a little dirty (changed it for a clean one though so no harm done). Our last visit I felt quite dismissed and when I read the list out of everyone's orders, she read it back and one of the orders was wrong so I told her that wasn't right and instantly she huffed and told me I read it out wrong as if it was instantly my mistake (My son vouched for me and I didn't read it wrong, again there could have been an instance i did read it wrong so it would have been nice to have been a little more patient about the situation). And twice I've had a free cup of tea with my breakfast (on some menu items it would 'suggest' you get a rosie lee with your food) but the last time I was told I had to pay (even though it was the same breakfast I had the last two times. So that was confusing and still dont know know what's right and if you do pay why I got free cups previously.

Again, food was lovely and we all really enjoyed it but the service is just a little tricky sometimes - I understand its very busy for them so maybe that is why.

It's lovely to see a busy local business thriving in tough times just hope the service can be improved to be on par...

Food is great quality, but I cannot return due to the following: Tables were not clean. All of them were dirty Five staff and not one could wipe the tables Tables not cleared after customers have left, meaning customers are entering restaurant and seeing dirty, uncleared tables. Not a good first impression Tables are not wiped after used dishes have been removed Cutlery not provided. Had to go to counter to get cutlery after food brought to table All five staff take very regular cigarette breaks at the same time, leaving the restaurant unmanned Half of the menu is unavailable Saucer is not provided with tea, where are you supposed to put the used teabag? Tables and sauce bottles, salt, vinegar and pepper shaker all sticky Radio turned too loud This restaurant would get 5 stars if these issues are addressed Good quality food. Shame about the...

Rebrabded about 2 years ago which is the 1st time I'd even noticed the place after living nearby for 7 years, so popped in as I love a good fry up.

Food pretty good, came quick and polite staff etc, it's a greasy spoon what more can you say, well it's a fooking nice greasy spoon, i go quite a lot.

I see other posts moaning about things... Collect your cutlery whilst ordering, that was easy....

Radio to loud, ask them to turn down, that was easy......

No saucer with tea, it's not the Ritz, collect a saucer type thing when ordering..... That was easy

Great food, great hangover cure, nice staff, clean etc etc,...
