Fusion Restaurant — Restaurant in England

Awful Customer service!. We have been a few times, and when travelling on the M5, we make a special journey to eat at Fusion , but last night was not special. we requested a table for 2 and they had the space, in fact there was 4 tables available. we ordered starters and waited more than enough time for the starter, then we noticed a table of thirteen who were in before us, only just getting their starters after a hour and quarter. A little worried ,I asked if our main course was on the way, when our starter plates were collected after still on the table after 30 minutes, of finishing. The lady said yes, but after another 10 minutes of no main course, resigned that things were not running smooth at Fusion. So basically over a hour and a half we had 2 starters!

although the chef is very good and the food is tasty ,the front of house staff do not much clue about how many customers they can manage. Do they think get as many customer in and hope customers will say nothing and accept big times between courses, they clearly can t cope. So .. I was happy to pay for our starters, and leave. I went up to the bar at this point there was not an apology or any offer of our 2 coca cola's taken off the bill as a good will gesture, so I suggested as a good will the drinks taken off, the abrupt reply from the lady was "we dont work that way, if you wont pay I will call the police". very shocked at that response, awful customer service.. so begrundingly paid it all and left. We will not be going back to fusion, in fact we have found better chinese and friendly service...

We had a lovely, well priced meal here which was filling and delicious. After ordering they realised they did not have a drink we ordered in stock so they ask what we wanted instead... I offered to pay the difference in the more expensive drink but they insisted it was okay... lovely service. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always serving with smile. Also, it was a very clean establishment. I would definitely go back.

Additional Covid-19 note. We have only been here once (so far) and it was after the lock down had been eased. It was the only place I felt safe as there was no one in there... but also because they seemed to be following the rules. For a small interior (only the right hand side was open at the time I think) they had hand sanitizer in multiple locations which I was pleased with and they wore face visors. There was a part where I would not have been comfortable sitting if other people were there but that is my own opinion as I am very cautious. I see on Google pictures that the left hand side of the establishment which we did not go in is...

After a lovely day strolling along the beach in Weston-super-Mare, I stumbled across this gem of a Chinese restaurant—and what a find! From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home.

I ordered a spread of classics: chicken chow mein, spring rolls, crispy chilli beef, and prawn toast—and every dish was spot on. The chow mein was packed with flavour, the spring rolls were crisp and fresh, the chilli beef had that perfect balance of sweetness and heat, and the prawn toast was golden, crunchy, and deliciously moreish.

Everything was freshly prepared and full of authentic flavour, and the service was just as impressive as the food—attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. It was the perfect way to end my day by the sea. Highly recommend if you’re in Weston and fancy fantastic Chinese food with great...
