Greggs — Restaurant in England

Went to Greggs in thirsk today only to be disgusted . Placed my order went to the till and waited . Was watching a member of staff probe some food she drops one on the floor .she looks round to see if any one is watching then picks it up places it into a bag and gives it to the customer . I had a word with the manager as I was really disgusted that she had done that not just that she dropped where people were walking through .manager said that she had told the customer that she had dropped it .the manager seemed ok with that if this is the sort of service they provide lack of hygiene etc I will not be returning . Went in to find out if any of the donuts were vegan (they weren’t), and got the coldest look of contempt from the troll behind the counter. She seemed outraged, and a little frustrated, by my dietary choices, as if somehow it was a bother to her. But I can’t fully blame her because I was somewhat outraged by her dietary choices too. This Greggs is in a prime location and have used it many times when visiting Thirsk , the lack of hot food available and limited sandwiches at 2pm on a busy Saturday was a joke. Luckily the Farmers market was on and they seemed to have taken all the Greggs customers buying his pies etc . It was the quietest Greggs on a busy summer’s Saturday afternoon I’ve ever seen.
