This is my third time visiting Heaphy's but before I choose to come in I was wandering if I should because is not the staff the issue but is the smell which is off-putting,from the fact that this place doesn't have any ventilation neither something to help the area smells more comfortable, sitting at the iner corner i could smell the sweat from the man sitting next to the intro door,so I couldn't finish my meal, which also didn't tasted good I had the sandwich with the Somerset brie but as a person who has been working for over 18 years and still working in the field of catering and business marketing the food in this cafe has almost no taste that I would like to eat again and the menu is not attractive at all. You could improve the smell amd the menu and your cafe could florist because there no any interested option in Glastonbury but the point in the food industry is not only to be affordable and tasty but and can be imprinted in the customer's memory so that he has the will to come again and again to the same place and I say this as a suggestion to improve your revenue and customer experience if that's something you also want to offer.(Scent Marketing is the study, analysis, diagnosis and application of the appropriate multi-complex fragrance, which enhances consumers' emotional attachment to the brand. Scent Marketing is a key pillar of communication strategy for any...
Read moreTo The Owner I have been coming to Heaphy's for the last two years and more and it is no exaggeration that I visit 5 times a week, usually with my son. Today 2nd March, I arrived at Heaphy's for my second coffee of the day at 3.05pm to be told they had stopped serving! When the closing time, I believe is 4pm and the stop taking orders is 3.30pm. This was a 10 mile round trip for me. I was hoping the girl serving would make an exception, due to me being the most regular customer you have, when I mentioned the stop serving time of 3.30am the girls reply, was "we have not had a break all day" When I mentioned to the young man who is always very pleasant and helpful, that I may no longer come to Heaphy's once he had left all the girl could say was "that's fine it is up to you" It has been busy all day, I know, as at 12 noon I had my first coffee but if you don't manage the place properly you will lose customers. Losing my custom has cost your business thousands of pounds over the next few years. Sorry I have had to put this feedback but I feel the the owner should know. Maybe your female member of staff who spoke to me should try doing some manual work like...
Read moreDespite a member of staff looking after my bags while I descended the scarily steep staircase to their bathroom, there was a distinct lack of interest by the staff in discussing anything to do with the menu. They said they don't serve salad, even on the side despite having a list of sandwiches. I chose the avocado on sourdough and although it was nicely presented there was waay too much chilli in it. My mouth felt numb after it. Again, no interest, in fact slight irritation from the staff after I asked about the amount of chilli. He said "it varies, sometimes there's heat, sometimes you can't taste it". Well today was the former, in the extreme! One member if staff kept touching her hair and her mouth, then proceeded to dry cups with a tea towel. Very friendly audible chat between staff members about the festivals they were going to but they don't care about their customers. Won't be back. Oh and card only,...
