IncaMar Pizzeria — Restaurant in England

I don't often leave a one star review, working in hospitality myself I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. I understand mistakes happen and we can all have an off day - but last nights experience was unacceptable! Waiter was pleasant, we ordered drinks shortly after we arrived which came promptly, then ordered food!! 2 large tables then arrived who both seemed to be having their orders delivered within the hour that we were still waiting for ours. We were then given one *gluten free pasta dish and one bowl of fries and nothing else!!! Another 10 minutes and still no food, but other tables were still receiving their food during this time. At this time a huge sliding door fell off it's rails with the corner hitting me on the head and my son on the back, (luckily he was so hungry his head was in his hands, otherwise it could have been fatal). The young teenage waiter picked up the door and attempted to put it back! Many of the other guests asked if I was ok and were incredibly concerned. Not ONE of the staff members even approached or offered an apology or assistance in anyway! When my husband asked to speak to the manager, he was told there isn't one and that "how were they to know that a door would fall off"! The attitude of the lady that seemed to be in charge was utterly abhorrent, she refused to take ownership and still wanted us to pay for our drinks! Suffice to say, we left hungry, upset and incredibly let down by a restaurant that certainly didn't put the health and safety needs of its customers first. Go by all means, but: a)don't be in rush b)don't be hungry c)don't sit by the back door d)don't expect the correct/legal Health and Safety protocols to...

The service and food was absolutely horrible. The experience here was not worth a penny. We went thinking the view and food would be good however we were deeply mistaken. I ordered a crab pasta only for it to be tinned or frozen crab ,Flavourless. The pizza we ordered was soggy. The order took over an hour to come and they were not that busy at that time. They only had 5 tables. And they had been served already. I give three stars for atmosphere as the view sitting outside was nice. But the rest I wouldn't even give one star. They need to improve massively or need to give the business to someone who cares.

We did mention it to the staff but only was given a shrug and he then walked away. The female staff then arrived and told us that here's your food and walked off. The restaurant was quite as we originally sat downstairs and then moved upstairs. I had a two year old with me and was not told that people are permitted to smoke on the terraces. It was too late to move by then as the food arrived. I am not a person to give a negative review to a business without giving it a chance which I did and still was disappointed. Also I requested for my daughter food to arrive first which the lady told me that's fine only for it to be wrong and then my daughter had to wait another 30mins and was the last one to receive her food. Looking at your past reviews it shows the incompetent of the staff and your responses. Clearly you do not like the hard facts and are not willing to take responsibility of the mistakes. I came here for my partners Birthday meal over the weekend, We thought it looked nice on the outside so decided to give a try. We were very disappointed, they took ages to order our drinks, then took our order and messed it up. I ordered a pizza and a side of chips, and oils and bread and my partner had a seafood pasta.

When it turned up they had put my side of chips all over my pizza, at first I thought it was a joke.. I struggled talking to any members of staff as nobody really understood English. I asked to send it back but didn't really understand my complaint, eventually they heard me out and I had to wait a long time for my food to be remade. Meantime watching my partner eat his he said his scallops were gritty and chewy and not enjoyable at all.

I made a formal complaint at the end and politely asked for a discount on the food as it wasn't a pleasant experience, or even our drinks knocked off the bill. We were declined and told we has to pay the full bill, as we came in 'late' at 9pm we walked in, as the kitchen closed at 10pm..but we had to wait a long time for our food. I've been to many restaurants all around the world and if you're not happy with your food, they have offered free dinner on the house, free drinks or free desserts. But the service we received for my partners birthday was absolutely disgusting.

We didn't enjoy our dinner what so ever, disgusting customer service, mediocre food, overly priced cocktails and an awful atmosphere. I highly recommend to not bother wasting your time...
