The Orient — Restaurant in Newquay

Order No 35 Tuesday evening 8:30 May 20th This is another update of the Orient we had another fantastic takeaway delivery ,from from the guy on the telephone polite and helpful to the fast friendly delivery to Trenance holiday park by the girl who patiently waited for me to come collect near reception , the food was spot on and my wife is Chinese and she was impressed , portions are very generous the pancake roll was the biggest fatest I’ve ever had , crispy chilli beef excellent, thank you chef and to you all from beginning to end 😁😁👍🏼👍🏼 highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We are staying here at the pentire Newquay and even though the food at the hotel is amazing we wanted something different so we opted for a Chinese takeaway and the Orient Chinese takeaway didn’t disappoint. The portion sizes were generous and to be honest we over ordered and struggled to finish everything but we did :) eventually. Very tasty and well cooked and delivered well on time even though Saturday evening is busy especially bank holiday. Hi this is my first ever Google review not one for reviews but felt this place was definitely worthy. We have just spent a week in Newquay and love a Chinese takeaway we stumbled across this place and ordered a takeaway consisting of chicken chowmein chicken curry fried rice chicken balls etc etc and it was lovely by far the best food we ate in Newquay so good we decided to have it again a few days later a similar order with beef chowmein and a king prawn curry all our usual bits we enjoy, the king prawn curry was lovely and the prawns absolutely massive. I know we all have our local Chinese takeaway to where we live. But if your on your travels or holiday and fancy a Chinese give this place a go and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Excellent in everything,the order was easy and described about the costs of delivery and how much it was for free delivery. I ordered from Quintral downes premier Inn and was told my delivery spot was 1900-1930hrs so I ordered my food costing £30.00 for me and the Mrs . The delivery driver rang me 4 minutes before delivery on the dot a red car pulled up and the deal was done . The food was hot , excellent and very well proportioned it's taste was good and one of the best we have ever had ,credit to the young lady on the phone and the experience thank you .
