Pachanga | Authentic Mexican Restaurant, Newquay, Cornwall — Restaurant in England

The worse breakfast experience I’ve ever had. The front of house staff was so rude took our order wrong to begin with then chef came out to re confirm order and said sorry he must of been asleep as there was three of us and only put through two breakfasts. Asked to go and pay again another member of staff took the payment then brought out the wrong dish and proceeded to have an argument with us about what we ordered. The front of house man shoved the payment device at us whilst we were eating and told us we had wasted a portion and to pay the difference. He then came to the table again and started clearing the table moments after we started eating. We then refused to pay the extra £4 in difference whilst we was attempting to finish our breakfast which had now gone cold and he continued to argue the fact. What was supposed to be a relaxing Sunday breakfast turn into a full blown argument. Will not be eating here again and will advise others...

We found Pachanga through a post of a forum and gave it try while on holiday, it was. Bit of a date night for me and Ceri and we are both so so glad we did, the staff are friendly, the food is FANTASTIC!! authentic mexican food, that tastes delicious, the tortilla chips with home made salsa is packed full of flavour, the Quesadillas are full of melty delicious cheese, I added black beans and it took them up a level, then we had tacos, Ceri had Cauliflower and another with pulled pork, I had pulled pork and one with black, there wasn't a single bit left behind, each one was delicious, full of flavour, then we opted for the fully loaded corn, BOOM!! Another unbelievable flavour sensation, the mayo, the cheese, the yummyness was left all over my face but I didn't care, I loved it! Whilst they advertise as traditional mexican food is more experimental, with a small list in the menu and none of the options been traditional. The black beans tacos made with cinnamon, same sauce used on the duck tacos and the brown beans made with a heavy knoor seasoning. I didn’t enjoy end of it. The food was rushed and not made with care. The layout of the restaurant is confusing, no one explains how it works. If you seat on a table upon arrival there won’t be anyone asking if you already order. Waitresses only bring your food, after ordering from the counter and ask constantly if you want any drinks? Also we notice there was a lot of orders going to the wrong tables and people complaining something was missing from their order.
