This may just be my new most favourite cafe in the whole world, its like build a bear but for hot chocolate. So many different chocolates to choose from, alongside different marshmellow flavours. There was oat milk, almond milk and coconut milk alongside regular cows milk which was a really nice selection to choose from. The hot chocolates themselves were huge, I got a regular expecting the "small" option to be small, and my partner got a small, but both were really big. I got a ruby hot chocolate with oat milk and vegan marshmellows which was incredible, and my partner got a hellvelyn which he said was just as good. The chocolate and damson cake was amazing, as was the blondie, there arent many places in kendal you can get a gorgous slice of cake for £2.

I'm writing this after my 3rd visit - each time I've had a different hot chocolate, from 61% up to 85%, and each one has been delicious. I haven't tried the extras yet, but I'm looking forward to trying a hint of chilli or a handmade marshmallow with my drink next time. The drinks are all made with just the chocolate chips/buttons and hot milk (and dairy free alternatives are available). Really high quality stuff, and well worth the reasonable prices. The small sized 85% was £2.75, and the regular (the huge bowl in the photos!) was £3.75, and it gets you the highest quality hot chocolate I think you can find in Kendal. Well worth a visit!

What a lovely unique experience. I opted for 45%. I wish I went with the recommendation that the staff member gave me of going with a higher percentage. I really really really enjoyed their millionaire brownie. On the first bite I ordered 2 for takeaway. Wish I took 5. They were absolutely divine and went very well with my drink. 🥹 Please come and open up a branch in Sheffield.

I've seen the shop going to M&S, and decided to give it a try. I went for couple of flat whites, and by far one of the best coffees I had. Finally a place which doesn't burn the coffee and knows how to use the coffee machine(clean and rise before and after use - makes a massive difference in taste). Beats Starbucks or Costa easily, to big of a difference. Having in mind the where i was, I decided to become greedy so I went for a hot choc as well. 54% with oat milk. By far the best hot chocolate I've ever had. The service, the product and price is top class. Highly recommended for hot chocolate lovers all ages and coffee drinkers. 100% you won't get dissapointed. Highly recommended. My to go place for coffee or hot chocolate. Well done for the owners, I hope your business will flourish and stay the...

Me and my friend have made Kakaw our number one place to meet up and have a catch up! We go super often and every time the staff are always super kind and friendly! The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming and we love the aesthetic of the place right down to the toilet! I love that their hot chocolates are made from proper chocolate and big ones are served in these gorgous drinking bowls! I always have a hot chocolate or on the odd occassion an iced chocolate and my friend often has a mocha, we always thoroughly enjoy our drinks and have a good natter! Absolutely love Kakaw big fan!! Also they often make homemade mashmallows which are big and are always in different flavours! I love to buy a marshmallow to dip into my hot...
