The staff are nice however when ordering an ice coffee was given a large which I didn't ask for and was essentially tricked as I paid before my drink had even come out. When entering the cafe myself and the person i was with asked to eat in. We were told we could order at either counter. We went to the counter upstairs in which we stood there for a couple of minutes whilst two staff ignored us, we were not greeted and they did not take our order. So we went downstairs to order and after getting our food went back upstairs to sit down. In which the same member of staff who ignored us at the counter then told us that we had to "pay to eat in". To which I replied we had asked to eat in at the downstairs counter, he then said "why did you order downstairs?" which is when I had said "because no one took our order upstairs and we were told we could order at either counter" he then told me the information I had been given was wrong and even said that he did ask us "what did you want to eat" which was a lie. After pointing out that this was in fact not how our interaction transpired as I wouldn't have gone downstairs otherwise he backed off and said "do you know what nevermind" and walked off. We left shortly after because at that point we didn't even want...

At first I was thinking nice place but we found out that there were 3 menu sheets and the joker on the next table gave us ours back after we had ordered and was joking about pinching it as there were 4 of them so the obviously needed 2! I ordered a sausage sandwich and my husband ordered a sausage and egg toasties. I also ordered drinks. We got our food first and had to ask again for the drinks. My husband has to have a drink with food as he's had throat surgery which i had explained to the lady on the till as I asked for more milk to cool his drink down. Overall, the food was nice but the service wasn't very good. The reason I mentioned the menus was we weren't aware there was another sheet and if we'd had it we might of chosen something different. We haven't been there before so we thought that was what was on offer. I know you have no control over what people do but the fact this man was taking menu's off of empty tables plus he was also looking for sauces etc as they obviously didn't have enough on theirs, maybe the tables need checking for menys and condiments when they are cleared and replacing making sure each table has...

We have used this cafe over the years when it was called by another name. I think now it has changed hands. They had more food on the board that was unavailable than there was available. My wife ordered a Thai chicken pannini. When it arrived the filling was a vibrant green in colour and looked like it was full of food colouring. It did not taste anything like Thai chicken. Nevertheless she ate it and immediately regretted it. It was bland and left her Tonge green. Will not eat there again which is a shame as it was once very good but is now below average. Spend you hard earned elsewhere. In reply to you response I am a little confused. You say the cafe has not changed hands. But on another site you state that it changed ownership in 2021 when the name changed. Secondly you state that we were there before your fillings were ready. We got to your establishment at about 11.30 to midday ish. So you were not ready for a lunchtime service. Very poor really. Spend more time in getting what you do right than replying to feedback...
