Lilly's Cafe — Restaurant in England

Went for lunch today as I was wanting a quick sandwich on my lunch break. I ordered a chicken club sandwich and a drink. The girl serving was on her own and seemed to have too much going on for her to deal with. She came to take my order. After twenty minutes another couple came and sat down and got drinks straight away. She then asked if I was wanting to order I stated I already had and she then remembered she had taken my order and to go check it. She assured me the order had been taken and would be coming. Then after an hour and twenty minutes of waiting my order finally arrived. After me having to find her to ask if the order was actually coming. It then came with no salad in the sandwich or on the side which I told her about when i went to pay. She apologised for not telling me this wasn't available when I ordered it however it is a bit too late after I had the food. The order was for a sandwich and a drink hardly a difficult amount of food to make and to have to wait that long for an order was ridiculous. Man serving was very rude and definitely shouldn't own or work in a cafe as his attitude is disgusting. Menu states one thing but the staff say it cant be done for certain orders which is false advertising according to there own menu. Kids asked for mango smoothies and thats what we ordered but when they came out we're strawberry and banana when I took them back as child didn't like it and not we ordered were told its all they had left so basically just wanted the money for it and served us what they had without telling us. Forgot part of the order and then when it was made and brought out bloke dropped a quarter of it on the floor no apology and expected to pay for it. Bloke is just rude talking back to customers and arguing with people needs to learn how to treat people if he wants customers to return. Food was nice but doesn't make up for...

Can’t I give a 0?? Worse cafe I have been to in 25 years. I travel often as I play chess all over the country. The name was rude. Would hardly answer to my questions. I asked for WiFi. He didn’t even reply. Just brought a little card with it on with my coke. I got up after I asked and said did you hear me? No reply. Then my order turned up burnt. I only asked for a bacon and egg sandwich. The bacon was disgusting. Black. I also asked for white bread. It turned up in a roll?? No smile. Nothing. And I said I’m leaving when the burnt bacon turned up. Told him this is the worse cafe Iv ever been too. He gave a sarcastic thank you. Good bye. He did offer to re do it to be fair. But that was the only polite or nice thing. But this is expected....
