Loafers Sandwich Bar — Restaurant in England

What drew me to visit Loafers Sandwich Bar was the many positive reviews. I had high expectations and must admit that I was not let down.

Staff is very friendly and the set up of the shop is good.

There are a lot of food options but I ended up with a choice I set myself of going for the Loafer Burger or the Beef Roast of the Day with cranberry sauce. I chose the latter which was the more popular option and the food was prepared in around 5 minutes.

After the first bite, I decided that this will be a place I will come back to. Simply amazing. As you can see in the pictures, there is a lot of meat in there so you get a lot of value for money! (Only £4.50!)

Would definitely 100% recommend for you to check it out for yourself. For me, it's my best takeaway in town to date.

For the owners, I'd recommend coming up with a meal deal option with a snack and drink. Would definitely pay more £s for this option. If this already is happening, apologies, I didn't see...

Highlight: Best Flat White in Taunton, hands down. I've tried them all and this one is outstanding.

If I'm able to find the time for lunch when I'm in town, this is my go-to place. Loafers is unassuming, down to earth and independent. No frills but food that punches above its weight in terms of quality AND quantity. They don't do things by half here.

Just had a roast beef & onion bap - it was juicy, tasty and rich. No annoying sinew, just meat. Choice of granary or white and the bap was made-that-morning fresh. Filled me up nicely for lunch with a really, really good coffee.

Big shout out to the kind banter too. Not too much, not too little. Lovely stuff.

Biggest rip off shop round 8quid on a tiny salad where the owner informed me as I wanted a mixture of the salad he would have to charge me more on my first time even going there awful diced up bland salad with the most two pathetic bits of meat clearly bought from Tesco express round the corner, don’t go here go to Silvans Lebanese round the corner or a few vans are round there where you will get a ton of meat and better tasting food for cheaper price. Ps most of my work force wouldn’t even try the place now after got back to work with what they gave me it was the brunt of the joke all...
