We held our works Christmas quiz night last night at the Mad Squirrel and we simply had the most amazing time.

The event ran smoothly, everything we asked for was ready and available for us on out arrival and the team couldn't do enough to help us.

The Pizza was amazing and there was plenty of choice, everyone said how tasty it was. Matt even provided the pizza descriptions on the tablecloth so we could easily identify the pizza, as we had a lot!! this was brilliant idea especially for the vegetarians and vegans.

Everyone loved the drink choice, there really is something for everyone. There was also live music in the bar which was fabulous.

If you are thinking of running an event here I cannot recommend the upstairs space and the Mad Squirrel team enough, you will not be disappointed! We will for sure be back again next year!

Staff were nice, beers were good, but never eat here. The pizza was very average, but sadly it was how long they took to get them to us that took the biscuit. We were a party of 12 who booked in advance, but they seemed surprised when we all ordered at the same time. One person had a lactose intolerance and one person was gluten intolerant. Apparently that meant that the single oven could only be used for their pizzas individually, but it doesn't explain why only one or two pizzas arrived every 10mins. We ordered at about 1.15pm, and the final pizza didnt arrive until about 2.15. It was less than half full, so it was a very confusing experience. Just don't serve food if you want to concentrate on the beers, which were pretty nice. Staff were knowledgeable about that stuff.
