McDonald's — Restaurant in England

visited bridgwater MCD on a sat. evening 10pm , entered order on the touchscreen displays, including which sauce dips to choose from. this often seems as though the order on screen is stuck at a certain point in choosing, and wont allow the request to progress to the next screen. order confirmed, and paid by card; the paper printer never works, so noting the order number on screen and remembering is a must, before clearing the display screen. we waited for 1 medium meal, and after 15 mins. i approached the dispatch counter to ask about update on our waiting meal. i could see our order no. progressing up the screen to "ready to collect" , and presumed any second now, it would be presented. however i saw a staff member press some buttons on an order processing device which promptly deleted the order no's displayed on screen ; out meal order no. was ignored and deleted. apart from deliveries being collected by drivers seeming to be priority, the customers after us, were served first. when i asked the counter staff, they were confused, and i heard them shout out another request to their chef or cooks to quickly do the same order again. as i explained i couldn't understand why the order nos. had simply been deleted off screen. finally, the meal was presented to me, but i noted there were no sauce packets included in this bag, so waited again to ask; where are the sauce dips please ? oh-- so they were then given to me, thanks, but if it seems such a required choice on the order screen display-- how are they even missed off of the process ? generally, waited too long, and order request completely...

Ordered through the app for an in person pick up. Firstly, a huge snaking queue was present at 1am for the Drive Thru, so there was a 10-15 min wait to be served. Having ordered in the app payment is automatically taken from my card, so given the payment kiosk didn't need to deal with us they just ignored us and turned their back on us, which seems rather rude!! Picked up the order without too much fuss, ans pulled away to have the fries before setting off home; they're always best fresh. Fries were fine, but the drinks... flat, tasted weird, no ice in them so they're warm (and bear in mind we are in a heatwave st the moment so everyone wants their soft drinks nice and cold. Both of them were tipped down the drain, that is how bad they were! Both the Sprite and the Coke had a strange fruit hint to them. And then to cap it all off we got home to discover that the Double Quarter Pounder was missing from the bags, so they managed to not supply the major component of one of only two meals in the order. I had hoped, having seen them put the dips in the bags, which is what is usually missing from an order, that this was going to be a complete order, but no, they missed out a whole burger, and one of the meal elements they supplied was thrown away as it was...

How has this place got any stars? Arrived at the, Bridgwater Macdonalds by car, to see at least 1 member of staff, wearing a grey uniform, talking outside the front entrance. We drove into the inside Customer Service Point, and waited for our orders to be taken. Meanwhile, a white van, and 2 cars pulled into the outer Service Point, and had their orders taken. I must state, that, both Service Points were open and neither coned off. Having sat there waiting for over 4 minutes, I phoned the premices, to have another wait to be spoken to. I politely, asked the female person, when eventually someone answered the phone, the reason why we had been sat waiting for our order to be taken. The excuse given, we only have 1 headset that works. I asked, if that is the case why hasn't the outside lane been coned off. No answer given, also all Summer no Iced drinks, have been available from the Bridgwater Branch, excuse being the machine is broken. WOW used the same excuse last year. This store is the worst Macdonalds i have ever been in, Customer Service not a clue, Cold Food and staff stood around doing nothing, even when really busy. Could the Area / Regional Manager contact me please, not holding my Breath for...
