I have used this particualr McDonalds ever sinced it opened, which must be over 20 years now and it used to be fast and the food was always hot! But ever since they have automated their systems, the waiting time and que for food is always long, i have personally had to wait 15 - 20 minutes for my order to be completed and even then, mistakes were made, which i am afraid to say is now a common occurance!.... This i feel is all down and due to automation and the rush to get the food out as quick as they can because of the hefty ques and drive through waiting times. There are less staff around to take your order manually and you nearly always get directed to use the touch screen service tills. I really hate those things, as they take away peoples jobs and cause nothing but delays and not always good for elderly or people with disabilities etc. I remember the better days more than those of today at this resturant. Each and every time i have got food, i have a short drive home and the food never stays hot, let alone looks as good as the pictures of the food..I have before asked for the order to be replaced and that it lookes like what i have ordered, not just thrown together, like it normally looks..I do not think those who work their really care about the food they are preparing, all it is to them is a job and a busy one at that... The drive through itself has two ordering lanes that go into one, which are not very well laid out, which causes a race to who can get into the single lane first to get there order. The whole car park also is terribly laid out, you used to be able to drive through get your food and drive straight out around the front of the building, but alas some pencil pushing bright spark who drew up the plans made it ten times worse a few years ago, and now you have to drive round the whole car park before you can exit....Other Mcdonalds i have used over the years all now seem to be the same, slower with everything being directed to automation. Okay technology might be the way forward, but it is not always the best way forward for fast food...Not my favourite of...

I walked into this McDonald's expecting a quick meal, but what I got was an adventure in grim. The floor? Not just dirty, not just grimy, but grim. It looked like the aftermath of a fast food festival that had gotten out of hand—napkins, crumbs, and stray fries everywhere. Honestly, it was like the place had given up on itself, but was still open for business.
The tables? Oh, they were something else. A mix of half-eaten burgers, fries in various states of abandonment, and ketchup packets that looked like they were actively plotting a rebellion against order. It was like a food fight had happened, but the participants had all left, and the mess was just... waiting for someone to care.
Then came my drink. The worker handed it to me, and with the grace of a true professional, she spilled about an eighth of it all over the table. Not the end of the world, but enough to create a sticky little puddle right in the middle of my personal dining space. She paused, gave a quiet “sorry,” and—here’s the kicker—walked away. No attempt to clean it up, no offer to bring me a new drink, just a quick exit, like she had completed her task and now had to go fulfill some other mysterious duty.
There I was, trapped in a sticky soda situation, wondering if I should use my fries as a mop or just embrace it as part of the "authentic McDonald's experience." The apology was so soft, I almost didn’t catch it. It was as if she was apologizing to the table and not me—like the table had been the real victim in this saga.
So, would I recommend this McDonald's? Only if you’re into grim food experiences, where the only thing faster than your meal is the worker’s retreat after spilling your drink. Bring a mop, a sense of humor, and maybe some extra napkins. You’re going to need them.
⭐⭐ (2 stars for the grim vibe and the whispered apology, but no action to...

Firstly the car park is so poorly designed. You enter the car park in which you have to squeeze tightly next to the people waiting for the drive through, and then drive behind the store in which half way round the lanes between the drive through and car park rejoin, which is incredibly confusing and somewhat dangerous if you’re not paying attention.
Secondly I arrived at 10 because it was the only restaurant still open in the area and was surprised when I wasn’t allowed into the store because they had closed. I was then told by the same member of staff that I could still order through the app and enter the store, which has left me completely confused as they weren’t then closed.
Finally after ordering my food and paying for it, I and everyone else in the restaurant ended up waiting over fifteen minutes. All I had ordered were some McFlurrys ! When I finally got to eat the McFlurrys they were half melted as they had just been sitting on the side, something that I thought were quick and easy to make.
After a second visit two years later, hoping something had changed. I ordered table service through the app, only to have a staff member loudly shouting the order number out. I was very abruptly and rudely told that they don’t apparently do table service at night. Maybe change your options on the app then, as they had managed it for outside? Secondly a burger was cold and chips without salt, only to have them argue with me and each other over it.
Overall, I am very disappointed with this McDonald’s and will never be...
