We were a group of four and had the absolute pleasure of dining at this incredible Greek restaurant and it was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with just the right balance of traditional charm and relaxed comfort.

To start, we shared a selection of dips. Creamy tzatziki, smoky melitzanosalata and a wonderfully rich hummus, each one bursting with authentic flavour and served with freshly pita that was still warm and fluffy.

For mains, we tried the lamb kleftiko and the mixed grill and both were absolute standouts. The lamb kleftiko was melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection in parchment with those rich Mediterranean herbs. The mixed grill was generous and expertly prepared, offering a mouthwatering variety of meats that were juicy, flavourful and beautifully charred.

Service was friendly, attentive and made us feel truly looked after. It’s clear the staff take pride in the food and in creating a memorable experience.

I had such a lovely meal at Meze in Handforth! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, making the whole experience feel relaxed and friendly. The menu has a fantastic range of authentic Greek dishes, and everything we tried was full of flavour and beautifully cooked.

The meze plates are perfect for sharing – fresh, generous portions and a great mix of traditional favourites. The mains were just as good, especially the grilled meats which were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cosy yet lively, making it a great place whether you’re going for a date night, family meal, or a get-together with friends.

A special mention to Koray, who looked after us all night – so friendly, attentive and made the whole experience even better.
