Wow, walked in for two coffees and couldn't resist buying some off their extraordinarily fabulous chocolates. Superbly displayed the chocs were impossible to resist apparently. If I lived in Richmond this would be a weekly treat, no question. The Americano's were excellent, with skimmed milk and made with a smile. Particularly liked that they supply a menu sheet which allowed us to identify the various chocs I bought. Such an array it's easy to keep adding just one more.

Ordered a chocolate birthday cake, before coming up to Richmond for a holiday, for my husband's birthday The cake was delicious, not too sweet and stayed nice and moist. Also bought some chocolates to take back for presents, and a box for myself. They are gorgeous, esp the marmite and peanut butter and the turkish delight. I am a die hard Hotel Chocolat fan, but Mocha's chocolates certainly give them a run for their money. I will be ordering more online.

Honestly the best hot chocolate and mocha we've tasted anywhere in the country - and we've tried a few. Great, attentive staff who really care about the food and drink they serve. We didn't eat, but there was a tasty looking range of cakes, a very large selection of chocolates, and ice cream too. A family run business that deserves a special visit if you're in the area.

Always a pleasure to visit Mocha and have been on a number of occasions. The last visit I put my head round the door and asked could they accommodate 7 cyclists. They instantly set to pushing some tables together for us all. We all had lunches cakes and coffee which were promptly served and the feedback was good. I had the scrambled egg with Salmon which was delicious and was taken aback at how large a large Mocha was, I think I needed a soup bowl for it, very good. I have also enjoyed the Nachos here, and on another occasion the delicious artisan chocolates. People tend to pick maybe the more obvious central cafes in Richmond but Mocha has consistent good service, friendly faces and quality food. oh and anywhere when you order a mocha that asks if you want it with dark or milk chocolate gets my vote, dark...

Took my family who were visiting. We ordered 4 drinks and whilst 2 arrived promptly, we had to wait a while for the other 2, with customers who had ordered after us being served first (they seemed to know the owner so seemed to benefit from special treatment). I asked to buy some chocolate animals for my 2 year old but was told to wait (with no other customer in sight). No one ever came back about it. At the end, while about to pay for our drinks, I informed the unpleasant woman that my parents wanted to buy a box of chocolates too so she queried the size. I translated to my mum and the woman was rude and pressuring us into which size box. What an embarrassment in front of visiting guests! I saved my parents from wasting another £40 and we left,...

This place lacks customer service and order. I waited by the chocolate counter for service, I was ignored. I waited in the other queue only to be told I needed to wait at the chocolate counter by which point there was a big queue and disorder so I opted for a prepackaged box. On top of the chocolates, I ordered two kids ice creams. My daughter licked her ice cream and it promptly fell on the floor. It had not been pushed down properly. Staff just stood and stared at me as I picked it up off the floor. I had to ask where the bin was, I had to ask for a tissue to clean my hands. There was no help, no asking if I was ok, they just ignored the situation. I should have just left it there to melt.

Considering the chocolates were nearly £30 I expected...
