Great street food with excellent service in the heart of York. Fresh, tasty and very well priced. Huge portions! Thai inspired with a small but good selection of dishes. I will definitely make a return (many times I hope). Super service with extremely helpful and cheery staff. If eating out was always this pleasant. Yum!

Update August 2022 - Still providing excellent food. Freshly made and delicious. Have enjoyed coming here a few times now and it never disappoints. Amazing and highly recommended.

Update March 2023 - Another update but it's worth doing. As always the quality of food is excellent and the service is brilliant. If NaNa Noodles was my neighbour, I would be in real trouble! But oh! The pleasure would be worth it. I can't rate this place highly enough.

Update - August 2025 Still the best! Good quality, great portion size and happy service. All these are the main ingredients which keep NaNa Noodles on the top slot for Street Food in York. Okay, you have to have a taste for Asian inspired food but if you do, then this is still the place to go. I have never been been...

This place is beyond amazing!! I go there almost every week and I've been trying different dishes and love every single one! The woman who works there is so sweet and always happy to see customers and the chefs are wonderful too! Highly recommend if you're going to shambles.

My favorite dishes reviewed Pad Thai - very yummy, but a bit sweet. It's got some good crunch and the chicken is always delicious and portion is great Chicken fried rice - a classic, can't go wrong! It is a bit lighter in flavor which is great for a hot summer day or a less filling feeling. They always add delicious veggies! Spicy Thai rice - super umami and perfect spice level (very mild). It has some yummy veggies in there too! Yellow curry chicken - Nice and cozy meal for a rainy York day! They are generous with the sauce which turns it almost like a stew but it is very filling...

We stumbled upon NaNa Noodle Bar completely by accident — and what a lucky find it was! A kind, smiling lady stopped us with a friendly offer to try some of their dishes and took the time to explain each one. After a quick chat, we went for the Pad Thai, and we’ve got zero regrets — it was absolutely delicious.

For just £9, you get a large bowl packed with fresh ingredients, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. There’s a small bench nearby, but it was a bit too filthy to sit on — thankfully, the staff helpfully recommended walking a bit further, and we found plenty of clean tables and benches close by.
