Oasis Cafe — Restaurant in England

Went to the oasis cafe today 30/12/17 finally got served after staff finally deciding to serve me after been stood at the takeaway window for five minutes . A tall skinny spotty faced youth served me I asked for two milky coffees which was a very hard task for him , he came back with the coffees and placed them on the counter he said that will be £2:60 I gave the spotty youth a £10 note picked the coffees up and returned to my partner, we drank our coffees and my partner said she would like another one so I went back to the window and I asked for two more coffees then I remembered that the youth had not given me my change from last time I told the lady that served me this time that I had not received my change from last time and she stated that mistakes can’t be rectified after you have left the window I told her that I wanted my change or I would not leave the window she then checked the till and said it was correct ,at this point the spotty youth came back and I said what have you done with your change he said I gave you your change at this point I decided to phone the police at this point the skinny spotty youth pulled my change out of his pocket and said oh I was just bring it back to put at the side of the till I forgot .Of course you did you dishonest little bastard and the management said nothing no apology or anything so beware the skinny spotty youth check your change if you go to the oasis takeaway window I won’t be...

Go regularly to have food and enjoy the views. Got our order wrong one time and politely asked them to correct it. Snotty attitude from the manager. Got what we asked for in the end. But on our return when we ordered again the manager got the lady serving us to repeat out order whilst giving us mucky looks. To which we ignored it and carried on with our food when it came. Then on our last visit. We made an order and the manager got the lady serving us to ask if we definitely wanted the food. Which because of the obnoxious attitude and made to feel like such bad customers I said no and asked what the problem was. To which I got told that we are always changing our minds. Which we didn't but even if we did your entitled to. So we left and haven't been back since. Which is a shame. Cos it's a handy venue for some decent quick take away food. But the attitude of the manager I have never come across...

I love this Café and have been walking down here especially for years. Located on the Northside midway round the drive on the 'quieter' side. By quieter i mean not as many tourists and no noisy amusements. But by no means is this side boring at all. The Café location tends to attract hoards of friendly bikers and car enthusiasts to gather round and meet regularly. In the summer the Static Royals bring down a wonderful display of modified cars, some real pride and joys. They are well behaved and it is wonderful to see. The Café itself does top notch food and lovely cuppas, well worth walking for so if you drive that is a bonus. There are 2 outdoor seating areas and also a restaurant above the Café.
