Origins Coffee Bar — Restaurant in England

My first visit to Origins coffee shop today. What can I say it was a lovely place to unwind and chat to friends. It is spotlessly clean. Beautifully decorated. Lovely staff. The shop has some beautiful pieces of homeware and hand crafted chocolates also. My mouth was watering. I'm a vegan and I was unable to have a slice of the beautiful cakes on display, initially this was very disappointing, however Darren the owner, surprised me with free, suitable for vegan, raspberry chocolates as a gesture of good will, I've got to say they were beautiful. If you're a vegan or not, please give them a try, you won't regret it. He was very interested in getting my opinion on the chocolates and was pleasantly surprised at my enthusiastic response. We also discussed vegan cakes that would suit both vegan and non vegan palates. Suggestions were made and he was receptive to the idea of stocking vegan products. Came on my own waiting for my mam and dad. My mam rang me to order she wanted a bacon sandwich a staff member said 'We don't sell sandwiches' another thing she said 'Are you sure you have to right place'What a cheek. A snobby woman. Hands down one of the best lattes we've had ❤️ Quite a few places in Darlington to choose from but when it comes to a decent independent coffee shop only around 2 tick the box. The ladies on shift were lovely and attentive. Coffee and cakes only to buy, but that's all we have with a coffee anyway, so I wasn't disappointed.
