Two weeks ago I had my first bad experience with Papa Johns. They seemed to lose contact with their female driver who managed to take 40 mins to do a 5 min journey to my house. After multiple phone calls the pizza arrived. One was fine. The other was supposed to be half and half Hawaiian and veggie but when we opened it it was the Philly cheesesteak one. We then had to wait another 20-30 mins for the correct pizza to be delivered.
I was willing to forgive the errors as the two members of staff I spoke to were helpful and apologetic and promised they’d make a note on their system so that next time I wanted to order they’d offer me a freebie.
The reason for my poor review is that today I’ve called to redeem that offer and the man that answered said there was no note, he didn’t know anything about it, made excuses that he couldn’t check who was working 2 weeks ago to check the situation with them and would not accept what I was saying as the truth. Read moreThe food here is superb, however ordering face to face has been a disappointing experience. The server got my order wrong and when I arrived home & discovered this. I called immediately to ask them to fix the issue. To which the same server responded with no, it’s your fault and you’ll need to purchase a new pizza. After conversations with 3 staff members I eventually spoke with someone who said I could come and collect the correct pizza. When I arrived it was the wrong one again, however they made the correct one eventually. 3rd time lucky! I did eventually receive an apology which I was pleased to receive, but I would highly recommend when ordering face to face to TRIPLE check they’ve got everything right & maybe even check your pizza BEFORE leaving. Read moreI placed an order with the Wellingborough store to only receive an email saying there is an issue with the order and to contact the store. I contacted the store and their only reply was that they hadn't received an order in the system and to just wait. I gave them my details and they said they would call back in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later I didn't recieve a call so I called back again to once again be met with no help whatsoever and they couldn't say either way if I was getting my order or money back. They kept saying it was not their fault but didnt offer any solutions which was dissapointing and frustrating as a Papa Johns franchise.
