Pickering Station Tea Room — Restaurant in England

Love to visit as often as possible. Staff very friendly. Sit outside the buffet bar with our dogs watching the different trains & staff going about their business with pride. Lovely to see the teenagers helping out & always well mannered. Recently watched wedding taking place on the station, was Lovely to see. Another occasion a wedding reception being held with all party boarding the steam train in all their fineries!! Lovely experience & wouldn't hesitate recommending a visit. Situated on Pickering station which runs the steam trains on the North Yorkshire Railway. An excellent nostalgic station and the tea rooms add to the all round ambiance. You can get hot and cold drinks and both hot and cold food from sandwiches,pies to a cooked meal.so you can see the steam trains and get something to eat and drink.Toilet facilities also available. Tea room itself was very pleasant and staff also nice and friendly but oh dear, the Café Latte was the worst I have ever had in my life. It was so bitter, my eyes nearly popped out and it didn't appear to have been made with milk. Tried 4 spoons of sugar and gave up on it, bah disgusting. Pity we didn't see the Costa shop down the...
